Dried Elegance Wedding with Panorama Events

We talked with Event Stylist Zoe, from Panorama Events about the inspiration behind this "Dried Elegance" styled wedding shoot and discussed some of the details of the day.

Q: What was your inspiration and vision behind the styling for this shoot?

A: It was mid Covid and we wanted a way to release some creative energy given that we weren’t doing weddings! Leesh from Little Green Leaf found a beautiful inspo pic and we decided to recreate it and put our flare on there as well! We used the inspo pic for colours and style, however, we changed the fresh florals to everlasting dried florals that Tanya (Sugared Style- Florist) could repurpose at the end of the shoot to reduce costs. Because, let's be honest, no one was in a position to outlay thousands of dollars in the middle of last year! We love the style that the dried florals helped create and couldn’t be happier with the end product.

Q: What were some of the key elements of this shoot?

A: The key elements were definitely the pillar candles and the backdrop. Everything else we wanted soft and neutral, but we wanted those two elements to pop and have the wow factor! Myself, Leesh from Little Green Leaf and Tanya from Sugared Style came up with the concept and worked together to pull the vendors together.

As you can see from the photos this shoot was heavily reliant on the candle element and I love how it all came together. Candles create such a beautiful vibe and when we contrasted them against such an incredible backdrop, they really completed the vision we had in our minds.

Q: We are so happy to hear that! Can you tell us why you choose to work with our candles?

A: They’re non drip! It honestly makes such a difference when doing the clean-up of weddings or photoshoots. Nothing worse after a job than having to pick wax off holders for 57 hours! The range of colours available is also a massive selling point, adding slight variants of colours in candles makes such a great impact.

Q: Tell us a bit about your business, your style and the services you provide.

A: Panorama Events is a Wedding Planning, Styling & Coordination business based on the sunny Gold Coast. We have an obsession with weddings and are so grateful to be a part of so many special days surrounded by our couple's family and friends. I would describe the style of Panorama Events as Romantic and Modern, however, I have also created so many other styles for brides: Rustic, beach, Whimsical, Boho, Garden Party & Alternative. It really just depends what my couples are envisioning, I’m always up for something new!
